Welcome

For the most part I collage found papers (usually old, both printed and hand-written), then work on them using, for the most part, acrylic paint, pencil and pen.
All my work attempts to 'marry' chance elements, expressive gesture and controlled drawing.
The subject matter I have used most frequently is derived from a small paper boat, but I'm broad in my interests as will become apparent as you view a range of other work on this site - see, for example 'Monoprints', 'Derelict Interiors', 'St Nicholas of Bari', 'Icarus', etc.
This boat often makes imaginary journeys, but also spends a good deal
of time being re-constructed in the boatyard.
