more 'Diversions'       -    out of interest ... the red vertical printed text on the stamps was added to the 1930 stamp issue (depicting Alfonso XIII's head) when the Second Spanish Republic was declared in 1931, thus more firmly closing the windows on the long-standing Spanish monarchy.
